Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Lucy Ida Dixon (Nee Millar), age 83, of Murray Harbour North, wife of the late Archie Dixon, occurred on Friday, August 28, 2015, with family by her side.
Born July 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late David and Nettie (Jordan) Millar.
Lucy is survived by her loving, children Lilith (David) Boudreau, Debbie Dixon Livingstone, David Dixon, Myrna Mellish; sister, Sadie (Eric) Weatherbie; cherished grandchildren, Dennis (Sindy) Boudreau, Crystal (D.J.) Bears, Joshua Livingstone, Veronica (Jeff) Butler, Jordan (Kara Kemp) Dixon, Morgan (Zoe Baker) Dixon, Ashley (Doug) Baker, Christopher (Kelly O'Connor) Mellish; adored great-grandchildren, Donavan Bears, Riley Bears, Rory Bears, Cohen Mellish, Denver Kemp, Reese Baker and Ty Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Flossie Millar, Shirley Graham, Bernie Graham, Myrtle Clow, Gertie (Derrell) Collings, Joan Dixon, Shirley Clow, Lillian Dixon, Velma Dixon, Peggy Cameron, Bill (Bertha) Dixon; former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Scott; and former son-in-law, Scott Mellish.
She was predeceased by sister, Lillian Huesker (Joe); brothers, Dr. Charles Graham, Leverett Graham, Warren Millar and infant, David Millar; sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma (George) Dixon, Edith (Laurie) Clow, Magdalene Porter, Everett (Sadie) Dixon, Eldon Dixon, Grant Dixon, Claude Dixon, Frank Clow, George Clow; former daughter-in-law, Margie Acorn; and former son-in-law, Wayde Livingstone.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 31 at 3:30 p.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour North New Cemetery.
