Norman E. Leaman
1927 - 2015
It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of Norman Edward Leaman, on Thursday, August 27, 2015, following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 5, 1927 in Anagance, NB, son of the late Burpee and Mary Jane (Carson)Leaman.
He will be sadly missed by his four loving children: Ciaara AKA Debbie of Elgin, Larry (Sharon) of Dieppe, Penny Walker (Peter) of Riverview and Jeffrey (Bea Ann) of Riverview; ten loving grandchildren, Derek, Angie, Rob, Jen, Shaun, Kris, Greg, Laura, Tyson and Marisa; four great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chloe, Jace and Airyanna.
Norman was predeceased by his wife and one true love, Jean Evelyn (Patriquin) Leaman, cousin "AKA" sister, Marjorie Coates and grandson Mark Ritchie.
Norman was employed with CNR for 44 years and was very passionate to his career and the people he worked with. He was a loving father and grandfather. If there was anyone ever in need, he was the first person offering to help in any way he could. If Norman wasn't at work or puttering around his home, you would find him on his cherished land in Elgin, NB. He spent hours talking about his childhood in Anagance and talking about his beloved father. He loved the animals and birds, outdoors or taking a nice Sunday drive down a country road. Norman asked us to acknowledge his special caregivers especially the one closest to him, Geneva.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview NB. on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 2to4pm and 7to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00pm with Rev: Steve Berube officiating.
Donations in Norman's memory made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
