SMITH, JAMES CLYDE "JIM"
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Jamie “Jim” Smith of Fredericton on August 30, 2015, age 67 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital with family by his side. Born in Sussex, NB, a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Ottley) Smith.

James was Owner/Operator of James Smith Wholesale Ltd. And very actively involved with the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4 where he loved to play Shuffleboard.

Survived by his daughter Donna Welner (Robert Welsh) of Ontario; grandsons Westley and Tyler; sisters Elizabeth (Henry) of Alberta, Alice (Paul) of Quispamsis, Sandra of Saint John; brothers William (Debbie) of Moncton, Donald (Inese) of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Joyce.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4, 199 Queen Street Fredericton, NB.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Autism Society or the Royal Canadian Legion.
