COLEMAN, KEILLOR DOUGLAS
1930 - 2015
Retired, third generation CN guy, Keillor Douglas Coleman, arrived at his final stop and bid farewell on September 2, 2015 to his beloved wife of 60 years, Audrey, who was his best friend and lifelong gardening, walking, travelling and dancing partner; his son Doug (Chona); his daughters Jane (Hossein) and Nancy; grandchildren Blake (Sarah), Ashley (Jamie), Jonathan (Roxanne), Nevan; and wee great-grandson William.
Dad enjoyed 30 years of retirement, lived life his way-simply and remained positive to the end. Though his ability to communicate became difficult, he would continue to make us smile when we asked him, “How are you, Dad?” and he responded with his classic “Any better and I couldn’t handle it.”
A big thank you to the wonderful caregivers and staff from Bayshore and Kindred Home Care, extramural nurses Elaine and Carol, and a special thanks to Jackie who made Dad’s last two days peaceful and comfortable.
Rest in peace, Dad (Gramp). We love you and will think of your often.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A short celebration of remembrance will follow in the chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
