William Albert “Willie” Mabey, age 59, of Westville, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he is the son of Harold Mabey, Maritime Odd Fellows Home, Pictou, and the late Margaret (Shakness) Mabey.
Willie was an auto mechanic until his illness.
He is survived by his partner Mary Donnelly; son Billy (Jennifer), Moncton; sisters, Paula Fraser, Westville and Kim MacPherson (Jason), New Glasgow; brothers, John Mabey (Joni), Westville, Peter Mabey (Susan), Westville, Jimmy Mabey (Ann), New Glasgow, and Hal Maybe (Tammy), Pictou; nieces and nephews, Ronnie Mabey, Carol Mabey, Heather Johnstone, Jolene Mabey-Smith, Tristin Mabey, Mellie McCully, Jennifer Mabey-Lumsden, Amanda Mabey, Bobby Mabey, Jimmy Mabey, Matthew Mabey, Laura Mabey, Austin Maybe, Dylan Maybe, and Melissa MacPherson.
He was predeceased by an infant sister Shawn Marie.
Willie is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. There will be no funeral service. A private family committal service will be held Thursday at The Holy Name Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
