Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Monday, September 7, 2015. Roy Tizzard aged 75 years. Predeceased by his parents: Eliab and Virtue Tizzard and infant grandson: Logan Brett Tizzard. Leaving to mourn his wife: Mabel (nee Strong) and daughter: Tracy Drover (Geoff); grandchildren: Hayley "Precious" and Noah, of Calgary, Alberta; son: Mark (Kelli); grandchildren: Nicholas, Kenzi and Sydney, of Lenexa, Kansas; sisters: Joyce Hopkins (Gordon), Rita Green (Robert - deceased); brothers: Harold (Beatrice), Dick (Gerry), Bob (Bernice) and Jim (Marion); brothers-in-law: Tom Strong (Judy), Roland Strong (Denise) and Rick Strong (Glenda), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place by request. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2-9 pm. Visitation will continue at Hopkin's Funeral Home, Old Perlican, on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2-9 pm. Funeral service will take place at St. Andrews by the Sea United Church, Old Perlican, on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Old Perlican.
