Durling, Lillian Mary -age 69, Truro, Colchester County, passed away September 4, 2015 after a brief illness, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born July 27, 1946, in England, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Ivy (Burrell) Higgins. She was a loving mom and very dedicated wife to her husband of 50 years. Survived by her husband Joseph Leonard Durling; daughter Lily (Richard) Hebb, sons Joe, Mark, Anthony, Truro; sister, Elizabeth Durling, Truro; brother David Higgins, Hilden; grandchildren, Colby, Taylor, Chantz, and Cameron; nephews, Jordy, Ronnie, Randy and Shawn. Pre-deceased by sister, Bonnie Higgins. Her hobbies were sewing, cooking and putting together puzzles. She enjoyed spending time and taking care of her family, and was an avid fan of Elvis. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro; there will be a private family service in Oakfield Cemetery.
