PATRIQUEN, KELLY
Kelly Ann Patriquen passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 5, 2015 after a determined-courageous three year battle with cancer.
Kelly, a much loved mother, daughter, niece, aunt, cousin and friend is survived by her adored daughter Karly; beloved mother Ann Patriquen and her much loved niece Melana, all at home, as well as, her very special brother-in-law Mike Shelley and ever-loved nieces Catie, Casey and Shannon Shelley; special and only nephew, Michael Patriquen; aunts and uncles Claire and Art McGuire, Kay Callaghan and Mary Lou and Kevin Smith (who have done more than what we could have ever asked for). She is also survived by many cousins and their children, and fabulous friends who, along with Kelly’s family, have been so supportive and generous throughout her journey. Kelly appreciated each and every kind deed that was done for her and her family.
Kelly was predeceased by dear family members. Her father Mel Patriquen (2005); brother Micheal (2011) and sister Mary Jane Shelley (2012); grandparents Ronald and Agnes Callaghan and Walter and Jean Patriquen; uncles David Callaghan, Murray Patriquen and Lawrence Patriquen; great-aunt Sister Nora Kelly and cousin Beth McGuire.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. (646-2424) By request, there will be no visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Rothesay at 11 am with a reception in the church hall immediately following the mass.
The family would like to thank Dr’s Reiman, Naz, Fellows, Wildish and O’Brien; support staff Colleen, Dale and Debbie and all of the staff of the Oncology Department and Palliative Care Unit at the SJRH for their continous loving care to help achieve Kelly’s goal of seeing Karly graduate. Also, sincere thanks to Dr. Piekarsky (Tracy) for your many kindnesses.
In lieu of flowers and at Kelly’s request, please consider a donation to the “KV Old Boys” who do so much good in the community or to the Palliative Care Unit at SJRH.
Always smiling, devoted to her daughter – Kelly fought hard and will be truly missed and always loved.
