Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, Joan Nolanin her 74th year of Mount Carmel, St. Mary's Bay. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Agnes Whelan, her brother, Joseph, her father and mother-in-law: Simon and Emily Nolan, brothers-in-law: Tom Nolan (Anne), Leslie Smith, sister-in-law: Josephine Davis. Left with fond and loving memories are her devoted husband and best friend of 47 years, Leo, her children: Duane (Rosalyn), Keith, Cheryl, three grandchildren: Kyle, Liam, and Simon, brother: Richard (Jeanette), sisters-in-law: Shirley Whelan, Annie Smith, brother-in-law: Bill Davis, nieces, nephews and a circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel on Sunday, September 13th, 2015 and Monday, September 14th, 2015 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, September 15th, 2015 with 10 am Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel.
