Inga Whilimina Hunson, 87, a resident of Harbourstone Enhanced Care, formerly of Coxheath Road, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Harbourstone. Born in Canso, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion (Roberts) Matthews. Inga was a former member of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Coxheath and the Anderson ACW Group. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Russell, daughter, Vicki (Dr. Harold) Molyneaux, Summerside, P.E.I., grandchildren, Lynn, Kenny, Kevin, Heather, Greg, David, Waylon and Shelly, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Inga was the last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her sisters, Elsie Booth, Marion Hunson, Doris Flett and Edith Davis, and brothers, Nelson, Robert, Donald and John. Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Church of Christ the King on Saturday 2 p.m., with Rev. Fred Rhymes officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Palliative Care or the Alzheimer’s Society.
