Kelley, Lottie “Maxine”, age 86, of Windsor. It is with great sadness the family of Maxine announce her passing on Friday, September 11, 2015, at the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, surrounded by her family and special friend Cathy Ross. Born on July 10, 1929, in Hillsvale, Hants Co., she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Marjorie (Parker) Wood. She will be sadly missed and will always be remembered by her children, Diane Brown, Red Deer, Alta.; Wanda (Andy) Harvey, Ardoise; Kevin (Betty) Kelly, Ashdale; Tammy (Mark) Grose, Grand Prairie, Alta.; the light of her life, , her 10 grandchildren, Shelda Brown, Tabitha Harvey, Andrew Harvey, Monte Harvey, Atasha Barkhouse, Angela Kelly, Kyle Kelly, Martina Grose, Sierra Grose and Levi Grose; and her 13 great grandchildren, Amber Harvey, Ryan Harvey, Kameryn Harvey, Alexis Harvey, Alyssa Harvey, Alexander Dalton, Cassie Barkhouse, Gavin Lake, Addison Lake, Sierra Kelly, Caden Kelly, Cody Albrecht, and Alyssa Albrecht;; also surviving are many nieces, nephews and special friends Marjorie and Marion. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by granddaughter, Tabitha Harvey; brothers, Ernest and Ross; sisters, Pearle Richards and Evelyn Wood. Maxine’s family are so grateful for the kind compassionate care that was given to her by the nurses and staff at Dykeland Lodge. You have touched our hearts and helped us through this journey. Arrangements are under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix. Chaplain Shelley Illsley-Martin officiated. Donations in memory of Maxine were requested to be made to The Friends of Dykeland or to a charity of one’s choice.
