Patrick Elwood Ganyo passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday September 5th 2015 in Swift Current Sask. at the age of 61 years. Pat was born on April 9th 1954 in Moose Jaw Sask. to the late Lester and Katherine (Kay) Ganyo. He grew up on the family farm in Mortlach Sask. and attended the Mortlach School from K-12. Pat will be sadly missed by his family and friends that all loved and knew him over the years. Pat is survived by his daughter Becky and Grandson of Swift Current SK. Cousin (like a brother) Laurence (Cheryl) Dyck of Meadow Lake SK. Brother-in-law Douglas Pettapiece, Nieces; Kathy (Rod) Ganyo, Shari (Mark) Bowey of Redcliff, AB. Leslie (David) Smith of Lethbridge AB. His niece's children Tavia, Mea, Akeda, Chanel, Haley, Tayla, Russell, Avery, Douglas and Kelsie. He was predeceased by Parents Lester and Katherine Ganyo, Sister Lenore Pettapiece. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Della Ferguson officiating, at The Chapel of W.J. Jones Funeral Home in Moose Jaw SK. Interment will follow at at Sunset Cemetery. Friends are welcomed to join the family after to the Eagles Club for luncheon at 561 Home Street West, Moose Jaw, SK.
