Vera Eva Parsons passed peacefully on Sunday, September 13th, 2015 at the age of 82 years, surrounded by her loving family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital. She leaves to mourn her husband of 60 years Ches Parsons; two sons: Ches (Jr) and Gordon; six grandchildren: Samantha Laforce, Christine Parsons, Ceilidh Parsons, Bhreagh Parsons, John Parsons and Cassidy Penney one great-grandchild: Gunnar Parsons; and her sisters, Marie Dicks and Juanita Mullins. She was predeceased by her parents: Walter and Isabell Ingram; her brother Hector Dicks and eldest sister Ivy Pittman. Visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Wednesday, September 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary The Virgin Church 456 Curling Street, Thursday, September 17th at 2 pm with The Venerable Ed King officiating, followed by the interment at the Mt.
