Millie Dynes, of Calgary, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at the age of 56 years.
Millie moved to Calgary in 1980, but left her heart in Cape Breton, where she enjoyed summers by the ocean. In Calgary, Millie enjoyed her career as a legal assistant in personal injury law. Her compassion extended beyond family and friends to her love of dogs. Millie volunteered for the betterment of people and animals and never lived a day for herself. She will be remembered for her sense of humour and her ability to make people laugh.
Millie is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Morrison and Kirsten Dynes; her “Lovebug” grandson, Zayden; her mother, Margaret Morrison; sisters, Mary Morrison and Lois Morrison-Huq (Mo); sister-in-law, Jean MacQueen; special niece, Jamila Huq and special nephew, Jaron Huq.
She was predeceased by her father, Howard Morrison and sister, Lorna Morrison.
Funeral services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
