ROSS JOHN (MALCOLM)

John was born in Barney’s River, Nova Scotia and peacefully passed away at home in Hamilton, Ontario with his family by his side on Friday, September 18th, 2015.
Dear son of the late John & Kathryn Ross. Loving husband to Violet of 40 years. Very dear father of John (Linda) Ross, Charles Ross, Donna Ross and his late son Leo Ross. John will also be missed by his step-daughter Beryl (James) Cameron. Grandpa to John (Michelle), Tiffany, Sheri (Corey). A dear great-grandpa to Brianna, Ethan, Leopold, Cooper, and Madison. Loving brother of Mary, Edith, Hazel, and Fred (Joyce).
He is predeceased by his sisters Margaret, Kaye, Carol and brothers Alfred (surviving wife Olive), Harold, and George.
John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a group leader at Dofasco for 37 years. John enjoyed singing, playing his guitar and harmonica, and the company of family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, Hamilton, Ontario (905-544-1147) along with a funeral service on Wednesday, September 23rd at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
