It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of our father, brother and uncle Bernard Muise on Sept. 21, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Hubert and Beatrice (Boudreau) Muise.
Bernie is survived by his companion Betty Head of Glace Bay; Joan Muise the mother of Bernie’s children, David (Lucy), Michael and Daniel; grandchildren, David (Breanne), Rachel, Scott, Miranda (Greg), Wendy (Keith); great-grandchildren, Logan, Kailee, Keegan and Noah; brother Charles, New Waterford; sisters, Martha (Vince) MacCormick, River Ryan, Anna Marie (Melvin) Cormier, New Victoria, Mary (Art) Carruthers, Hastings, Ont.; brother-in law Verne Sym, St. Thomas, Ont.; many nieces and nephews as well as very good friends and neighbour Joe White and Wayne Fraser.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son Glen, brothers, Joseph, Willie John and Hubert, sisters, Cecile, Loretta, Lillian, Evelyn and Catherine (Kay).
Respecting Bernie’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date.
