HOVEY, SANDRA JOAN
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sandra Joan Hovey, wife of Philip Malcolm Hovey, announce her passing which occurred on September 22, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Sandra was born on March 4, 1942 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Northrup) Mullett.
Sandra worked as a clerk for the Federal Government, Public Works and Immigration. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, she also enjoyed time at Hardings Point Campground. Sandra spent 25 years volunteering at the Loch Lomond Villa and was very hands on, helping where ever she was needed.
Sandra will be missed by her loving family, her husband Philip, and their children: Todd (Denise) and Mark (Linda), grandchildren: Lauren, Ashley, Erica and Trish, her brother Bobby Mullett, her brothers-in-law: Bill (Rosalyn) Hovey, and James Hovey, along with several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Dorothy.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24 from 6 to 8 and again on Friday, September 25 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A Funeral Service will take place in Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
