Family and friends sadly mourn the sudden passing of Wyn at her home in Halifax, N.S. at the age of 76 years.
Born at Fall River, N.S. the 2nd daughter of Hilman and Marie (Dolyniuk) Farnell.
She is survived by sisters Nancy Mooney, Patricia (LeRoy) Chambers and Edna Ross, numerous nieces and nephews in both Canada and the U.S. and great nephew Jordon Andrew, Halifax.
A graduate of Bedford Central High School and Miss Murphy’s Business College she worked her way upward in the business sector, both in Montreal and later in Halifax, as administrative Assistant and as an Executive Secretary.
She had a great love of music, poetry, art and the humanities and upon retirement she devoted many hours as a professional fund raiser for local charities
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst 902-667-9906.
A memorial service at St. Andrew’s United, Halifax will be announced at a later date.
