Paul Russell Scott
1958 ~ 2015
With heavy hearts, the family of Paul Russell Scott announce his passing on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John on June 10th, 1958, he is the son of Earle Scott and the late Marion (Bell) Scott. Paul worked as an electrician at the Dry Dock for 25 years, before health issues forced him into retirement. He was a kind and considerate man, who was always giving to others.
Paul is survived by his son Kenny Scott; daughter Shannon Poirier, grandchildren Jaydon and Faith; brother Brian Scott (Fronz); sister Jennifer Moore (Mike); his very special long-time friend Sharon Lyons who daily visited Paul in hospital; good friend Nelson Neilson and several cousins and other extended family members.
Arrangements entrusted to the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation Sunday from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 28th, 2015 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am followed by the interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Church cemetery in Upham, NB.
