Bo (Lloyd) Flanagan, 56, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday September 24, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on March 7, 1959 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Lloyd G. and Kathleen (Fraser) Flanagan.
Bo was the owner of Bo Diddley’s Lounge. An avid fan of Nascar, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Annette (Lirette); two daughters: Jennifer Matson (Colin) of Upper Coverdale and Lisa Mills (Neil) of Moncton; two sisters: Doris Goodwin (Paul) and Nancy Steeves (Terry), both of Moncton; two brothers: Clifford (Simone) and Carl (Diana), both of Moncton; six grandchildren: Andrew, Nicholas, Alex, Bella, Logan and Carter; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was also predeceased by his birth father, Thomas Flanagan.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Monday September 28, 2015 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. A reception will follow at the centre. In memory of Bo, a contribution to the Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
