The death occurred on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 at Western Hospital, Alberton of Charles Ray Phillips, aged 63, dear husband of Lillian E. (Silliker). Born in O’Leary on July 23, 1952, son of Pansy (Ellis) and the late Wyman Phillips. Charles will be missed by his sister Leita MacNaught, O’Leary, and by brothers and sisters-in-law Nellie Phillips, Stellarton; Barry and Lillian Silliker, Rosebank; Betty Gay, Carleton Lot 6; Donald Sweet, Knutsford; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, brother Arthur, sister-in-law Linda Sweet and brother-in-law Carman Gay. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Royal People’s Cemetery. In memory of Charles, memorials to Mount Royal People’s Cemetery or P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
