HUDSON, LENORA ETHEL
Lenora E. Hudson, 87, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, September 28, 2015. Born in McKees Mills, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Grace (Beers) Biggs.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Lenora was a former employee of Eaton’s Catalogue and Baigs Furniture. She was a member of the former Wesley Memorial United Church, member of the UCW, The Mission Outreach Committee and former Envelope Steward within the Church. Lenora was Past Noble Grand of Pearl Rebekah Lodge #9. She enjoyed reading, knitting and quilting, but first and foremost was time spent with her family.
Lenora will be sadly missed by her sons, Gary (Debbie) of McKees Mills, John (Laurie) of Calgary, James (Susan) of Lower Coverdale, Wayne (Margo) of Bolton, ON and Jason (Carol) of Whitehorse, YT; grandchildren, Trevor, Vanessa, Jared, Brandon, Rachel, Emma, Aaron, Jessie and Megan; great grandchildren, Oliver and Gordie; brother, Hartley Biggs of Saint John; sisters, Marjorie Glencross of Massachusetts and Shirley MacDonald of Moncton; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Hudson (1990); sisters, Eleanor and Helen; brothers, Ken, Waldo and Chester.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Lenora’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 10:30 am. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment to be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
