On Sept. 28, 2015, our beloved Gray lost his brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in New Waterford July 18, 1956, Gray was the son of Marie (Dornig) and the late Maynard Barry, New Waterford.
For 38 years Gray worked in the milk industry as a self-employed milk man for Scotsburn. He developed a successful business and during these years he impacted and touched the lives of many. Gray will be fondly remembered as a man of integrity by his friends and customers on the Northside, especially his special friends at Shopper’s Drug Mart. During his earlier years he drove ambulance for T.W. Curry Ltd.
Gray was predeceased by his father Maynard.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (MacArthur); his mother Marie; sons Matthew (Diane), John (Leandra); siblings Wayne (Kim), Glenn (Cassilda), Lynn (Gerard), Rhonda (Rob), Marie (Duncan), Gail (Bradley), Darryl (Kristal); sister-in-law Betty Farrell; brothers-in-law Hughie and Sandy MacArthur and also by his precious granddaughters Harper and Darcy.
Gray had a special relationship with his numerous nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by his golf and hockey buddies.
Visitation for Mr. Barry will take place on Friday from 5-9 p.m. at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Doug Murphy officiating. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
