We, the family of the late John Sawka, would like to express our appreciation to our friends, neighbours and extended families for their kindness during this time. Thank you to Holy Ghost, Mens and Ladies Clubs for all the years of support and friendship shown to our father. Thank you to Father Dusanyski for the church service as well as T.W. Curry’s for their expert care, Jean White and Cathy Urqhart for the lovely music and all who attended the service. Special thanks to Unit 3A, Palliative Care (4E), Dr. Mary Ann Campbell and Dr. Buhariwalla for the wonderful care he received. His determination with the great guidance and encouragement from Harbourview Rehab Centre staff gave him a great quality of life in his later years. The VON Adult Day Program was a very important part of his life. It enabled him to make new friends, try new activities and have fun. For this we thank you.
