Passed away peacefully at his residence in Gander on Tuesday, September 29th, 2015, George Nolan, age 71. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Mary Nolan. Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife Shirley, son Gary (Madison Reid) of St. John's, daughter Carla (Keith) Harenski, Albuquerque, NM; brother Don (Jenny) of Goulds, sisters Theresa (Clarence) Bruce of Goose Bay, Eleanor of St. John's, Joan (Aloysius) Dean of Sydney, NS; Mercedes of Mississauga, ON; grandson Ethan and a large circle of relatives and friends. George will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, humor, and strength of spirit. Rested at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Mass, Saturday, October 3rd at 1:30 P.M. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
