Passed peacefully away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, Ed Taylor, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents, Solomon and Victoria Taylor; and parents-in-law, John and Rita Fagan. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 48 years, Maureen (nee Fagan); aunt and uncle-in-law, Millie and Dave Baker; many cousins; as well as a large number of neighbours and friends - all of whom are considered family in our hearts. Special thank you to the staff at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, who provided so much care and compassion for Ed during the past month. By request cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, October 3rd from 7-9 pm and on Sunday, October 4th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 11 am. Burial will take place at Cupids Anglican Cemetery, Cupids, NL on Tuesday, October 6th at 2 pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Ed's memory may be made to the SPCA or a charity of one's choice.
