MELANSON, Robert Yvon (1959 - 2015) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Robert Melanson , 56, of Vancouver, BC, formerly of Moncton, NB. He was the youngest son of the late Yvon and Yolanda (Murphy) Melanson.
Robert is survived by his daughter Monica Melanson and son Nicholas Melanson both of Moncton, sister Josette Horsman (Kim) of Victoria, BC and brother J.P. (Raylene) of Moncton, close friend Suzanne Auffray of Vancouver as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Private Family Memorial was held, Father Paul Breau officiated. Interment will take place at a later date. Family and friends are invited to a casual celebration of Robert’s life at the Moncton Press Club, 180 Assumption Blvd, Moncton on Saturday October 10 at 6 pm to share stories, laughter and tears. A celebration of Robert’s life has also taken place in Vancouver. In memory of Robert, a contribution to the charity of your choice or simply a kind gesture to someone in need would be appreciated by the family. Memorial service entrusted to Frenette’s Funeral Home, Moncton (858-1900).
