Norrad, C. Paul
The death of Cecil Paul Norrad of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Shirley (Friars) Norrad, occurred on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born on November 2, 1940 in Sussex, NB, he was a son of the late Allwyn and Sybil (Snider) Norrad. Paul was employed with the Irving Oil Refinery for over 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending many summers with friends and family at his cottage in Kingston. Paul enjoyed winemaking and watching hockey.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Daryl of Quispamsis and Bradley (Jacqueline) of Kingston, NB, daughter Tracy Perkins (Greg) of Quispamsis, brothers; Bert (Ruth), Jack (Pat), Ansel, Dale (Cathy), sisters; Gerry Kyte (Bill), Darlene Baxter, Nancy Deveau, and Ruby McMackin (Pat), grandchildren; Molly Norrad, Cody James "Paul" Perkins and Delaney Perkins, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Norrad.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 1 to 3 PM. Funeral service to follow at 3PM from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at a later date. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
