It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Michael Edmund MacDougall on Sept. 9, 2015.
Ed was visiting his daughter's residence in Ontario when he suffered a massive stroke and later died at the Brockville General Hospital.
He is survived by his son, Ed (Sheena) MacDougall and Diane (Blair) McNeil; five grandchildren, Jay, Kaleign, Taylor McNeil and Conner and Shea MacDougall and great-granddaughter, Kendall Connell; also brothers, Danny and Garry, plus many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanette Alene (Robinson) in June. His parents, Jack and Blanch MacDougall; sisters, Mery, Ileen, Shirley, Florence and Myrna; brothers, John, Roddy and Kevin.
He was always there to lend a helping hand when it was needed most and was loved and respected by one and all. He touched the hearts of many people and will be greatly missed.
