GLENDENNING, FRANK
Frank Glendenning, 74, a long time resident of Fredericton passed away on October 4, 2015 in the Selkirk General Hospital in Selkirk, MB with his family by his side.
Frank was born to Clinton and Jennie Glendenning of Bathurst, NB in 1940. He was a graduate of Oulton College in Moncton and married the late D. Marilyn Larick in 1962 and they lived together in Bathurst and Fredericton until his retirement in 1995.
Frank was an active member of the New Maryland United Church Men’s Club and the MickMack Trailer Club. He was an avid traveler, touring North America in his RV and wintering in Florida. He recently moved to Manitoba to spend more time with his grand- and great-grandchildren.
Frank is survived by two children: Jodi Bennett (Dwayne) of Selkirk, MB and Sean Glendenning (Kim) of Okotoks, AB. He is also survived by five grandchildren (Matthew, Sierra, Shane, Ainsley and Colin), two great grandchildren (Sophia and Joel), three sisters (Betty, Judy and Nelda) and his special friend, Connie Ebbett of Fredericton, NB
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held at New Maryland United Church on Thursday, October 15 at 2 p.m. His ashes will be inturned at the Spruce Grove Union Cemetery in Bathurst, NB in a private family ceremony.
