Nellie Olene Elmer

Nellie Olene Elmer passed away on Monday October 12, 2015 at Chez Nous at the age of 95. Nellie was born at Waskatenau, Alberta. She served in the Army during WWII. She lived in Weyburn with her family and then moved to Moose Jaw. She is predeceased by her husband Charles; infant daughter; parents Allen and Lauren Sampson, and a brother Alister Sampson. She will sadly missed by her daughter Donna (Bill) Wiens; grandson Cory (Shari) Birley; granddaughter Shelley (Dwight) Nyland; four great-granddaughters, Kristen (Matt) Adams, Lauren Birley, Abbey and Emily Nyland; great-great-granddaughter Summer Adams; two sisters Lillian Rath and Ellen Pierce of Ontario; and one brother Gordon Sampson of BC. The Funeral Service will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St E., on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. For those so wishing memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association, #301 – 2550 12th Ave., Regina, S4P 3X1.
