GENEAU, FREEMAN
Freeman Geneau, 68, of Shediac formerly of Scoudouc passed away suddenly on October 17th, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC. Born on February 5th, 1947 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Florine (Gallant) Geneau.
Before his retirement, Freeman was a heavy equipment operator and a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, boating and carpentry.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Rachael née Surette; his two daughters: Pauline Kelly (Bryan) of Medecin Hat AB, Angela Taylor (Dan) of Wadena SK.; three sisters: Thérèse Mercure (Rhéal Allain) of Grand Barachois, Jeanne LeBlanc (late Clarence) of Shediac, Claudette Cudmore (late Lonnie) of Grand Barachois; one brother: Claude Geneau (Annette) of Nanaimo BC; five grandchildren: Éric, Cole, Cora, August and Isabelle.
In memory of Freeman, a contribution to the Oncology Unit of the Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC would be appreciated.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Inurnment will be in the Frenette funeral and cremation centre Columbarium, 396 Main Street, Shediac.
