VAUTOUR, AURELE
Aurele Vautour, 79, of Dieppe, with his family at his side, passed away in hospital on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Andrea (Gallant) and Auguste Vautour.
Aurele worked in the trucking business for 38 years. He enjoyed hockey, especially the Montreal Canadiens, and enjoyed walking, exercising and going for drives.
Aurele will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda (Douthwright) Vautour; daughters, Cecile Cormier (Euclid) and Pauline Cormier (Cloris), both of Cap-Pelé, Denise Richard (Dennis) of Moncton; sons, Leopold Vautour (Sheila) of Cap-Pelé and Stephen MacNaughton of Moncton; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Delphine Fahey (late Bob) of Moncton, Irene Gallant (Art) of Kingston, ON and Elsie Griffin (Bob) of London, ON; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathleen Smith (Jim), Elsa Sage (Don), Alan Douthwright (Brenda) and Glen Douthwright (Joanne); several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Doris Vautour and Annette Gallant.
In keeping with Aurele’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
In memory of Aurele, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
