Passed away on October 3rd, 2015, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, Ontario. Mervin is survived by his wife Bonnie, and 4 children; Perter (Wendy), Brandon, Brandy (Steve) and Brodie (Heidi). Mervin was a special Grampy to 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mervin is also survived by his siblings; Anne, Allison (Millie), Roger, Gail, Darlene, and Janice (James). Mervin was predeceased by his sisters Alberta and Aldona; as well as his father Edward Jones and mother Alma Abel. Mervin will also be dearly missed by his many nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
A memorial service will be held at Anson's - Slemon Park, Summerside, PE October 24, 2015, 3:00pm.
