BEYEA, HELEN MARIE
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Helen Marie (Sullivan) Beyea at the age of 86, which occurred on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Cedar House, Loch Lomond Village. Helen was born in Saint John, NB on September 4, 1929 to the late T. Gordon and Dorothy Sullivan.
She is survived by her husband, Reginald Dencer; brothers: Arthur Sullivan (Sheila) of Saint John and Raymond Sullivan (Heather) of Bocos del Toro, Panama; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Helen was predeceased by husbands: Reginald Armstrong and Douglas Beyea; sisters: Jean Lamb (Clayton), Dorothy Sullivan and Mary Evelyn Mercer (Donnie).
Helen was loved dearly by her family and was always there to help out, no matter what was asked of her. She had a great sense of community and volunteered at the Dr. Snow Centre, the Food Basket and the Library in Hampton and was a devoted member of St. Alphonsus Church.
Special thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff of Cedar House, Loch Lomond Village for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Helen.
By Helen’s request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from St. John the Baptist Church, Saint John, at 12 Noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street Saint John, NB (634-1965).
In lieu of flowers remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
