McCLUSKEY, ALINE
The death of Aline (Michaud) McCluskey, wife of the late Wilmot (Mutt) McCluskey, occurred at her residence on Tuesday, October 27th at the age of 79. She was born in St-Andre on December 13, 1935 to the late Lucie (Poitras) and Onezime Michaud and lived most of her life in the town of Grand Falls, N.B.
Aline enjoyed life to its fullest and cherished her children and grandchildren. She worked for a number of employers throughout her life, most recently in the office of Dr. R. Chowdry.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Dawn) of Quispamsis and Roy of Lethbridge, Alberta. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher McCluskey of Ottawa, Andrew McCluskey (Jennifer) of Shrewsbury, Mass., Greg McCluskey of Halifax and Jessica McCluskey. She was predeceased by her brothers Edwin Michaud and George Michaud. She is also survived by sisters and brothers, Artheline (Late Leo Cote) of Grand Falls, Jeanine (Frank Palazetti) of New York, Laurie (Roger Cote) of Grand Falls, Hugette (Late Herman Levesque) of Edmundston, Marlene (Iain Dunlop) of Bristol, Norma (Gaetan Desjardins) of Grand Falls, Anne of Fredericton, Alfred (Late Shirley Donahue) of Montreal, Richard (Jeanne D’Arc) of Grand Falls, Ron (Lillian Murchison) of Bathurst, Guildor of Montreal and Bob (Aurela Gaudet) of Moncton.
Aline is resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Daigle Blvd. Grand Falls with visitation on Friday, October 30 from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday, October 31 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St-Georges Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 31 at 2PM. A reception will be held following the Mass in the church basement.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
