The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, of Geralda Mary (nee Blacquiere) Thibideau of Miscouche, aged 72 years. Geralda was born in St. Nicholas to her late parents Dona and Mabel (nee Poirier) Blacquiere. Beloved wife of the late John Thibideau and loving mother of Joanne Dennis and Troy (Karla MacAusland). Also lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren Ashley (William), Cody (Christina), Kaitlyn (Shawn) and Tylan, three great-grandchildren Tianna, Taylah, Lucca, and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Louis (Lucy), Marina (John) Arsenault, Marie Stewart and Leatha (Clarence) DuPuis. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Babs Blacquiere, Richard (Joan) Thibideau, Sonny (Brita) Thibideau and Janice (Allan) Parks. Besides her parents and husband, Geralda was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Mary Louise (Sylvere), Cyrus (Celine), Tina (Lloyd) Cameron, Harold (Anna), Gerald, Shirley (Albin) Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Saturday, Oct. 31, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in church cemetery. Memorial donations in Geralda’s memory to St. John the Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
