Lorna Elaine Braaten (nee Mattice)
March 9, 1934 – October 31, 2015

Lorna passed away peacefully October 31, 2015 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. Lorna is survived by her husband of 62 years, Merv; her sons, Marty, Dwight (Diane), and Trent (Deanne); and daughters, Deb Cook (Terry Blom), Bev (Richard) Kim, Roxanne (Mike) Vandeven, and Christina (Ray) Getz; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorna was predeceased by her son, Gary Braaten and daughter in law Judy Braaten. A special thanks to the staff at Brightwater Senior Living and St. Paul’s Hospital for their care. A Celebration of Lorna’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Arthritis Society or the Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Acadia-McKague's Funeral Centre, Saskatoon.
