YVONNE CRAMER

Yvonne was born in London, England, the oldest daughter of Stanley and Pauline Wilson, with surviving sisters Helen (Edmonton) and Carole (Spain).
Yvonne crossed the pond in 1963, arriving in Montreal. She traveled to Calgary, where she met her husband Hersh. After getting married in 1971, they moved to Regina, Saskatchewan for a brief period and then to Red Deer, Alberta, finally settling in North Vancouver, where she raised her two children, Tracy (Justin) and Jason (Klara).
Upon retiring from the North Vancouver School Board, Yvonne began teaching Aquafit for people recovering from strokes. After 32 years in North Vancouver, Yvonne and Hersh decided to move to Sechelt for a more quiet lifestyle, where she enjoyed her time at the Sechelt Aquatic Centre and the once a month lunches with the Red Hats. Yvonne and Hersh enjoyed travelling; they visited over 40 cities and countries around the world.
Yvonne leaves behind her husband Hersh, their two children and three grandchildren, Hannah, Benjamin and Sara.
We would like to thank the staff at the Sechelt Aquatic Centre, Sechelt Hospital nursing staff, and especially Dr. Joerg Jaschinski.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Yvonne’s name to The Ruby Slipper Fund, c/o Sandie Lanskail, Daily Roast, Sechelt, BC or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
“Many women have done excellently, but you surpassed them all.”
“I did it my way.”
“Yes, a woman of valour makes the world change.”
Rest in peace my love.
