It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Boucher "Ti Lou". Louis passed away on Wednesday November 4, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 80.
Born on November 22, 1934, he was the son of the late Wilbrod Boucher and Letitia Giroux.
He leaves to mourn two sisters; Eva Henderson of Dieppe, Françoise Beaulieu (Ron) of Dieppe and two brothers; Armand Boucher of Gatineau and Gerard Boucher (Carmella) of Shediac. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, brothers-and-sisters in law, cousins and friends .
He was predeceased by two sisters; Valérie St-Pierre and Gisèle Bernard and six brothers; Laurier Levesque, George Martin, Roland Boucher, Edmond Boucher ,Wilbrod Boucher and Claude Boucher.
Following his years as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and after a career with Canadian National Railways, Louis retired and moved to Dalhousie. Louis had a great love for his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his pleasant nature and relaxed attitude. He loved life. He had a great sense of humor that was inspiring to
people around him. He knew how to communicate the fact that «Life is good!» He felt that he had to enjoy every moment in life. His loving nature will never be forgotten. His favorite activities were reading, walking, going to church and watching hockey on television. He loved
spending time with his friends. A Veteran, Louis was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Dalhousie.
The funeral will be held at St. John Baptist Church, Dalhousie Monday at 4:00 pm.
Visitation to Maher Funeral Home, 421 Victoria Street, Dalhousie, Sunday 7:00 to 9:00 and Monday from 2:00 to 3h45.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
