MCKENZIE
Ruby McKenzie (Clothier) passed away peacefully with her children at her side November 3, 2015 at the age of 95. She was born and raised on the farm in the Buttress District and married Jim McKenzie in 1953. Ruby loved to socialize and had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Cards, curling and cheering on her Blue Jays were her favorite pastimes. Family meant everything to her. She made a point of keeping in touch with her siblings and their families, she was extremely proud of her children, and she loved time spent with her grandchildren. Ruby touched many lives and will be greatly missed by those that knew her. Ruby is predeceased by her parents Rheuben and Leta Clothier; husband Jim in 1988; half-brothers Raymond and Gren (Dot); brothers Leonard (Vera), Elwood and Harold and her sister Rachel. She is survived by her son Barry (Cheryl), their children Taylor, Brittni (fiancé Kendall); her daughter Kathy (Jay) Campbell and their daughters Danielle and Paige; sister-in-laws Dorothy and Violet; and a caring extended family. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at W. J. Jones and Son Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Dave Moore will officiate. A time of visitation will take place at W.J. Jones & Sons Chapel on Sunday, November 8th, 2015 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moose Jaw and District Seniors, 101-510 Main St N, Moose Jaw SK S6H 3K3.
