Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on Thursday, November 5, 2015 after a lengthy illness, Michele Norman, age 48 years. Leaving to mourn her adoring husband Michael; the light of her life her son Zachary; her devoted parents: Elizabeth and Reg Anstey; brothers: Vince and Keith (Dana) Anstey; her mother-in-law: Bernice (Cyril - deceased) Norman; brothers-in-laws: Barry (Anita), Fred (Tracey), and Greg (Valarie); sister-in-law: Jackie Norman, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. The Norman family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the doctors and nurses of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Erin Powell for her continuous compassion and care for Michele over the last five years. At Michele's request cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt Pearl on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 12-9 pm. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 from St. Peter's Parish. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
