Murray P. Lutes, 66, of Moncton, passed away unexpectedly at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Born in Humphrey Mills, he was the son of the late Archie and Kay (Fram) Lutes. Murray was a labourer with Hub Meat Packers (Maple Leaf Foods), retiring with almost 40 years of service. Murray enjoyed his daily visit to Tim Horton’s and socializing with his friends and family.
Murray will be sadly missed by his sisters, Mary Lutes and Carol Dempsey (Gerald), both of Moncton; brothers, Albert Lutes (Louise) of Turtle Creek and Wayne Lutes (late Ann) of Moncton; nieces and nephews, Nora, Martin, Jerry, Tim, Bonnie, Theresa, Gary and Wendy; nine great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nephews and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother, David Lutes and sister-in-law, Ann Lutes.
A Service to celebrate Murray’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. John Merks officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
