Deborah Saulis

Saulis, Deborah Darleen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debbie Saulis of Oromocto First Nation on Thursday November 5th 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late Levis and Janie (Francis) Sabattis.
Debbie was a very caring, loving and warm woman who extended her love to all those she knew, related or not. Her loving and kindness extended to several children she had fostered throughout the years, some of which she and her husband adopted. She devoted her life to her family, praying for them, supporting them, encouraging them, and loving them unconditionally.
Debbie loved spending time with her family, camping, playing cards, sitting around a campfire and swinging on her swing her husband and sons built for her. She had a charming wit and was a fierce competitor when playing the game poison. She loved winning everyone’s money while playing pokeno. She never missed an episode of the Young and the Restless, or Days of Our Lives. She loved Bears and liked to collect them.
Her favorite time of year was the fall. She loved the fall leaves and Christmas was her favorite season as anyone who has driven by her home in December would have noticed, as it was the brightest house on the street.
Her faith was very important to her and she shared that faith with her sons and grandchildren. Debbie will be remembered as a patient, loving, courageous, faithful woman. She loved fiercely and leaves a legacy of love. There is no greater love…… We all love you and will miss you very much.
Debbie is survived by her beloved husband; George William Saulis, her two boys, Mark Saulis (Tammy) and George Robert Saulis (Kim); their adopted children; Robert John Saulis (Tasha), Stefan Levis Saulis, Trevor Eddie Saulis and Cody William Thomas Saulis. Brother and sisters; Mark (Joyce), Faye (Jim), Janice and Phyllis, grandchildren; Samantha, Marky, April, Bennett, Jessica, Tara, Tyler, Peyton, Sophie, Berenger, Andrea, Benjamin, Emmalee, as well as several god children, nieces, nephew and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters; Genevive, Eldon, Charlotte, Alfred, Anita and Levi.
Debbie will be resting at her home at 2 Wel A Mook Took Street, Oromocto First Nation on Saturday and Sunday November 7th & 8th starting at 12 noon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday November 9th 2015 at 11 AM from St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Antonio Reyes officiating. Internment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
