It is with great sadness that the families of Jessie Drover nee Parsons announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, November 7th, 2015, at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Major: Willis (Priscilla) Drover, Andrew Drover, Wade (Harriet) Drover, Bill Drover, Jenny (Joe) Chynn, Danny Drover, & Bond (Della) Drover, a large number of grandchildren & great grandchildren, she also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family & friends. Mother was predeceased by her husband: Josiah Drover, her sons: Eric & Gary Drover, & all of her siblings. The family will be receiving family & friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL., on Monday, November 9th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015, at 2 pm at The Salvation Army church in Deer Lake, NL, with Majors: Wayne & Betty-Ann Pike, & Major: Willis & Priscilla Drover officiating with the burial to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL.
