Colby Callender

CALLENDER, COLBY
Tragically, on Friday, November 6, 2015, Colby Dean Callender, 18, of Port Elgin, NB, passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Moncton, Colby was a much beloved son of Derek and Tracy (Richards) Nantel and Terry Callender.
Colby was a brilliant child with a fantastic memory, who will never have a chance to shine to his full potential. He played basketball and loved his dogs. He was a brilliant mathematician and great with computers. Colby was a devoted member of the family, a wonderful big brother and a loving, caring boyfriend.
Colby will be greatly missed by everyone, especially his parents; two younger brothers, Hunter and Mason, and a younger sister, Samara, all at home; girlfriend, Billie-Jean Duguay, Port Elgin; grandparents, Wendell Richards (Linda Dupuis), Memramcook, Sharon Richards, Port Elgin, Marie Callender, Sackville, Linda Nantel, Riverview and Michel Nantel, Fredericton; a great-grandmother, Cynthia Richards, Sackville, as well as many close aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Clayton Callender.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home. A time of public visitation will be held at their Port Elgin location, 3 West Main Street (506-538-2241) on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2 pm, with Wayne Jarvis DLM officiating. Due to the overwhelming care and compassion from family and friends, the funeral service will be streamed to the Port Elgin Regional School to accommodate the anticipated high attendance. The funeral service will also be available for viewing online at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
Donations in memory of Colby may be made to the Port Elgin Regional School.
