The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I., on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, of Stella Mary (nee Dugay) Albert of Summerside and formerly of St. Edward, P.E.I., aged 87 years. Stella was born in Palmer Road, P.E.I., to her late parents Frank and Regina (nee Arsenault) Dugay. Beloved wife of 70 years to Joseph Albert and loving mother of Raymond (Julie), Stoney Creek, Ont., Rayburn (Patricia) Summerside, David (Leslie), Alberton, Nelson (Wendy), Junior (Helen), Geraldine (Gerry) DesRoches all of Summerside, Ivan (Shelley) Obico, Ont., Christine (Wayne) Gallant, Marlene (Danny) Clow, Eric (Kathy) all of Summerside, Darlene (Joey Thibedeau), Charlottetown and Charlene (Chuckie) Clow, Miscouche. Also lovingly remembered by 34 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her sisters Josie (Raymond) Poirier, Gagetown, N.B., and Elaine (Henry) Perry, Bloomfield, P.E.I. Besides her parents, Stella was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Joe Dugay, Freddie Dugay, May Gaudet, Bertha Chaisson, Beatrice Chaisson, Milda Perry and Florina Bernard. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, Nov. 10, from where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Church Cemetery. Memorial donations in Stella’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
