HAWKER, ALICE
Mrs. Alice Muriel Hawker of Coles Island, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Born in the Narrows, Queens County she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Trebble) Brown and the wife of the late Bill Hawker who passed away in 1976.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Austin and her husband Bill of Chipman; two sons, John Wiggins and his wife Linda of Youngs Cove and Bryant Hawker and his wife Kim of Riverview as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her first husband, John W. Wiggins who passed away in 1945, her second husband Bill Hawker who passed away in 1976, her step-son Hazen Hawker and her sister Marguerite Stevens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A service celebrating Alice's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 at 11:00am.
