NICKERSON, Richard Roy “Rick” – It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Rick in Flin Flon, Manitoba, following a brief illness. Rick was the son of Helen Louise Gray-Poole and the late Harding Vanborne Nickerson. He is survived by his mother, Helen; his stepfather, Earle Poole; his wife of 37 years, Tannis (Cosgrove); his daughters, Jackie (Glen Chambers) and Lisa; son, Clayton (Brendley); grandchildren, Josh Nickerson and Erin Chambers, and Brendley’s special boys, Hunter and Dayne; aunt Carol and uncle Ronald Gray who shared a special relationship with Rick. Rick also leaves behind a sister, Judy (Fred) Bell; brother, Earl (Jan); brother, Reid (Barb) and sister, Joyce (Bernie) Boudreau. Also survived by step-brothers, Sheldon, Charles (Linda), David (Delilah Boudreau) and step-sister, Paula (Norman) Deveau. Rick had a 38 year career with Hudson Bay in Flin Flon, Manitoba. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a great friend to many. A real true outdoorsman, he loved the North! A private family burial will be held in Hillside Cemetery, South Ohio at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
