It is with great sadness that the families of Genevieve (Gennie) Mary Philpott announce her sudden passing at her family residence in St. John's, NL., on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015, at the age of 63 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Neil Knight, & his father: Eric Knight, her brother: Gerard (Melvina), her sister: Anne (Tony) Harvey, & her sister-in-law: Doris Philpott. Her special fury friend: Kitty, Her niece Nancy (Mark), & her nephews: Fred (Sonya), Brian (Michelle), Michael (Kimmie), & Joey, Mother-in-law: Mrs. Pearl Laura Knight, brother-in-law: Roy (Marcelle), & sisters-in-law: Linda (Glenn), Theresa (Tony), & Nita (Colin), also leaving to mourn a number of family & friends. She was predeceased by her parents: James & Dorothy Philpott, brother: Joe & baby sister: Ann Mary & her special dog Holly. The family will be receiving family & friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Friday, November 13th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, November 14th, 2015, at 2 pm with Fr: Gaberiel officiating with the burial to follow at the Deer Lake, Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL.
